Planning & Zoning
The Office of Building and Zoning encompasses all of the traditional roles performed by a building inspector and a zoning inspector, as well as those of the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area Administrator, Flood Plain Administrator and Freshwater Wetlands Administrator.

Police
The East Hampton Village Police Department is a full-service police department. It provides a full range of law enforcement services to the Village of East Hampton, including patrols, investigative support, special unit services, law enforcement programs, and emergency communications.

Public Works
The Village of East Hampton Department of Public Works maintains property owned by the village. It provides services for the well-being and convenience of village residents. It maintains all fire, police, and public works vehicles and equipment.

Herrick Park is owned by the village and leased to the East Hampton Union Free School District for sports programs, primarily at the Middle School.
